The Hanna COD system utilises internationally recognised chemisty for maximum compatibility with existing users meters and reagents.
All Hanna COD reagents are pre-dispensed into 16mm diameter glass vials making them both simple and easy to use. After the reagent reaction time (the industry standard two hours at +150C), the vials are placed in the multi-parameter Hanna C99 colorimeter to obtain direct readout of COD in mg/l.
The C99 meter is also new to the Hanna range and features a waterproof rubber keyboard with a double height LCD display and can be run on either mains or battery power.
In addition to three different COD ranges, the C99 is pre-programmed with 36 other standard water test parameters ranging from aluminium to zinc, allowing the user the flexibility to monitor a whole suite of effluent parameters with just the one instrument.
