Industrial Technology Systems (ITS), an independent solution provider, has recently signed an agreement to become Werum Software and Systems's Pas-X MES solution partner in the UK and Ireland.
After attending the Werum Pas-X user group conference in June last year, ITS's managing director Malcolm Knott recognised the exciting potential of Werum's Pas-X suite of products for the pharma and biopharma industries. Knott explains: "It is evident that the Pas-X range has been designed with the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries' needs at the forefront of the design process. "Process reliability, regulatory compliance including 21 CFR Part 11, equipment management and shorter lead times are all important to these industries.
"Werum's Pas-X family of products address these needs and offer significant improvements in all of these key areas.
"The most exciting feature of the Pas-X suite is its flexibility - as the systems are modular they can be easily expanded to meet the requirements of tomorrow".
As a partner ITS will be responsible for the integration of Pas-X solutions in the UK and Ireland.
With a strong presence in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries ITS's customers include Allergan, AstraZeneca, Aventis Pharma, Becton Dickinson, Bespak, Eli Lilly, GlaxoSmithKline, Gyrus, Pfizer and Wyeth.
