Laboratory tool for providing vibration-free operation for applications including the cultivation of adherent cells and cells grown in suspension
Integra Biosciences has announced the availability of Cellroll, a modular and expandible solution that automates the task of rolling cell cultivation bottles.
The highly flexible system, comprising moisture-resistant bottle deck and removable control unit, enables cell cultivation to take place in both standard and CO2 incubators.
Compact in design the Cellroll can be expanded to cope with up to 32 roller bottles.
Additional decks may be added to the basic model in a vertical or horizontal formation by a simple click-in and roll mechanism enabling high laboratory productivity.
The Cellroll control unit enables the entire cell cultivation working process to be pre-programmed through use of a non-volatile memory facility.
The system can be fitted with either a slow or rapid rotating motor.
Facility is provided for programming automatic adjustment of velocity, rotatory angle and the interval between plus length of work cycles allowing secure handling of even sensitive cell lines.
The Cellroll is the perfect laboratory tool for providing vibration-free operation for applications including the cultivation of adherent cells (eg vaccine production) and cells grown in suspension (eg insect cells).
