International Specialty Products (ISP) has announced that, through its subsidiaries, it has acquired the business and assets of Hallcrest.
Hallcrest is a manufacturer and marketer of custom microencapsulation and liquid crystal technologies for the personal care, home care, oral care and food industries, with a broad customer base that includes multinational Fortune 100 companies as well as many other producers of finished products throughout the world.
The Hallcrest headquarters is located in Poole, United Kingdom.
Hallcrest has an established reputation for its expertise in microencapsulation - particularly using the complex coacervation process.
This technique permits the control of a large number of process and material variables, allowing the appearance and performance of the microcapsules to be customised, significantly enhancing final product value.
