The UK Industrial Vision Association (UKIVA) will be running a vision workshop on Wednesday 17 October 2001 at Photonex 2001, NAC Stoneleigh Park, UK
The workshop is completely free, although visitors are encouraged to register with UKIVA in advance, to guarantee a place.
The central theme of the workshop will be camera technology, covering topics such as smart cameras, CMOS image sensors, linescan cameras and digital vs analogue cameras.
Other topics covered will be an overview of the component parts that go to make up a machine vision system and the integration of vision, motion control and communication on a single platform.
A particular application; the inspection of fibre ends with machine vision will also be discussed.
Speakers will include well respected figures in the industry from the following companies: Alrad Imaging, Cognex, FillFactory, Firstsight Vision, Kane Computing, Image Management Systems, Machine Vision Systems Consultancy, and National Instruments.
