Kerry has developed its MKC range of bench-top ultrasonic cleaning baths which can be programmed to maximise the quality and repeatability of results
MKC ultrasonic cleaning baths allow the user to pre-set exact cleaning times and temperatures, ensuring consistent levels of cleanliness from batch to batch.
Kerry's MKC units can thoroughly remove swarf, oil, flux and other contaminants from a wide range of new and refurbished components, including those with highly intricate shapes.
Although generally quicker than manual scrubbing or spray washing, ultrasonic cleaning is inherently gentle, making it suitable for less robust products such as printed circuit boards or precision parts.
MKC baths are available in capacities of 6, 14 and 22 litres to suit different workloads.
Each unit is designed with a small footprint to maximise the available working area.
With the addition of optional Neptune high frequency (140 kHz) sonics, MKC baths safely remove fine particle contamination from fragile or highly polished components.
Operating temperatures from 20C to 80C can be set in 1 degree increments, allowing the optimum temperature to be selected for a particular combination of component material, cleaning solution and contaminant.
Process times from six seconds up to 99.9 minutes can be pre-programmed in six second increments.
All functions are controlled by a simple four-button membrane keypad.
An LCD panel displays the temperature and time set by the user, the time elapsed since the start of the cleaning process, and the status of the power supply, heater and ultrasonics.
