The Virtual Logging system from Kyle Data turns the ubiquitous Windows/PC environment into a low cost comprehensive data logging system.
The Virtual Logging system from Kyle Data turns the ubiquitous Windows/PC environment into a low cost comprehensive data logging system.
The Kyle Virtual Logger utilises the VIPS I/O pods accessed via the parallel port.
Up to 4 pods can be fitted giving up to 32 channel analogue and logic input and output facilities. The Virtual Logger provides a graphics display for each input or output channel and individual logging control of each pod or group of pods.
With 4 VIPS10 analog input or VIPS30 logic pods, a 32 channel logger or 4 independent 8 channel loggers can be configured.
With the T100 modules, a 24 channel thermocouple logger can quickly be assembled.
Logging can be started and stopped using a number of criterion - manually, number of samples, interval, time or alarm conditions.
These are all controlled on-screen.
Log files can be configured for output to a printer or for import to Excel for further processing.
