Particle characterisation specialist buys rheology measurement company Bohlin Instruments
Malvern Instruments has acquired Bohlin Instruments, a developer and manufacturer of rheology measurement systems.
The acquisition was completed on 31 October 2003.
Bohlin's managing director Richard Hall has joined the Malvern Instruments board and will lead the company's rheology team.

Bohlin Instruments will become aligned within Malvern Instruments world-wide.

The company currently employs around 300 people.
