High-resolution reversed-phase, silica-based columns and media for protein/peptide separations promise increased selectivity and sensitivity
Mandel Scientific introduces Everest high-resolution, reversed-phase, silica-based columns and media designed for protein/peptide separations.
Its unique selectivity and increased sensitivity are a result of Grace Vydac's new proprietary bonding technology which maximises peak resolution of complex digests.
Grace Vydac, a business unit of WR Grace, is a global supplier of high-performance liquid chromatography columns and media.
Everest columns and media offer exceptional performance with better resolution, longer lifetime, and greater sensitivity/selectivity, with proven column-to-column and lot-to-lot reproducibility.
Everest products are also completely scalable, from nano to process applications.
"Our Everest columns and media are the first offering in the Grace Vydac Expedition line of chromatography products, and are designed to take our customers to a higher level of resolution performance and reliability," says Susan Ehrlich, global marketing manager of Grace Vydac.
"These new products demonstrate our ability to successfully modify our silica material science to discover quality products with exceptional performance. "Everest products are a result of the combination of Grace's leading silica science expertise with new developments in chemical modification.
"From this, we can offer a superior product for the protein/peptide industry where Vydac separation products have long been recognised," Ehrlich explained.
