Biological indicators for steam sterilisation, including spore strips, discs, dots and suspensions, can now be stored at or below 30C in a variety of environments
In response to customers' requests, Namsa has made further developments to its range of geobacillus stearothermophilus (ATCC #7953) biological indicators for steam sterilisation that includes spore strips, discs, dots and suspensions.
These biological indicators can now be stored at or below 30C in a variety of environments: freezer, fridge or room temperature. This improvement is also reflected in a change of packaging configuration: zip lock pouches of 100 BIs are now placed inside outer boxes bearing a certificate and label colour-coded by organism and type of sterilisation process.
Namsa says it is continuing to improve its range further with the intention to make all sterilisation indicators easier to identify, inventory and store.
