Californian chip manufacturer AMD approves static eliminator range as a means of neutralising static charge for workbenches, workstations and handling equipment
Meech Static Eliminators reports that its series 200 range, designed specifically for the electronics and semiconductor industry, has passed AMD's extensive tests for this type of equipment.
The testing, which took place in California, demonstrated that the Meech ionisers met the AMC's demanding technical requirements for use as a means of neutralising static charge for workbenches, workstations and handling equipment. Stephen Pheasant, Meech sales and marketing director, comments, "Once again, well designed and well manufactured British products have proved successful.
The series 200 has been highly recommended for use in AMD manufacturing facilities, based on the equipment's technical merits."
