Mettler Toledo has launched a new, top-of-the-range combined pH/temperature sensor which is ideal for harsh chemical environments.
The InPro 4800 gel electrolyte significantly reduces maintenance costs due to its extremely long diffusion path in two separate electrolyte chambers and its dirt-repellent PTFE (Teflon) junction.
In addition the sensor's pressure compensated reference system enables operation at particularly high pressures and temperatures (13 bar/188 psi and 130C).
The sensor can also be used in Ex-classified zones and the VarioPin plug connector ensures that installation and handling is easy.
It also offers greater operational reliability due to its IP68 protection.
