Mettler Toledo has launched the SC30 sample changer and cleaning unit for stand alone density meter and refractometers as well as combined instruments.
Numerous features are automatic including sampling, draining, rinsing and drying of the measuring cell, detection of the most frequent sources of error and power switch off.
The unit can be equipped with a heating unit and has the option of an automatic sample recovery system.
This allows for the measurement of very viscous samples or where only small amounts of sample are available.
The SC30 reduces the work involved in the determination of density and refractive index or both values, saving time and money.
