The TMA/SDTA841e is the latest addition to the Mettler Toledo's Stare range of thermal analysers and adds low temperature measurement capabilities to the TMA range.
The TMA/SDTA841e measures the dimensional and mechanical properties of materials as a function of temperature - for example the expansion coefficient of composite materials used in aircraft and the softening point of many polymers over the temperature range from -150C to 600C.
With a patented mechanical design and dimensional resolution of five nano-meters, the analyser provides the most accurate measurements.
It offers numerous features including automatic control of the cooling system, SDTA technology, new magnetic coupling for attachment of measuring probes, and DLTMA measuring mode.
