Parent company to take over marketing and product support functions in order to "bring more high quality innovative products to market faster"
Micronic, a producer of plasticware for sample storage, has announced that it is to centralise its marketing and product support function within the offices of parent company Integra Biosciences in Baar, Switzerland.
Reflecting on the changes Dale Charlton, the new VP of marketing for Integra, commented: "the changes will bring more high quality innovative products to market faster and focus expertise and resource to best serve our customers around the world'.
He added "the new structure extends and expands the marketing and product support group, its new location at the centre of operations will enhance our ability to undertake co-operative ventures with integrated solution providers and OEMs". During 2002 Micronic has successfully launched a series of new products.
These have included Tracker-DM, a new sample storage system based upon the universally recognised data matrix coding system, and Robo-Rack, a next generation 96-position sample storage rack that enables turn-key integration into most laboratory automation systems.
In addition for high throughput laboratories seeking easy visual separation of sealed samples by type, source, or even day of the week Micronic recently announced the TPE coloured capping system.
