Available from Moritex Europe is a range of aspheric lenses designed to enhance optical device packaging applications that involve laser, transceiver or passive modules.
With high throughput (>98% at 1550nm) and low aberration, Moritex aspheric lenses provide higher coupling efficiencies and lower losses than comparable Grin lens solutions for collimating light from a source or focusing light onto a fibre or waveguide.
In addition by securing the lens in a designated holder reduces the number of parts enabling more compact designs and lower costs. Available in a choice of low loss AR coated optical glasses the aspheric lenses can be optimised for a designated wavelength range.
Mounted or unmounted standard components with diameters ranging from 1.0-2.5mm and focal length 0.8-5.0mm are available on competitive delivery times.
