Nickel-Electro says sales of its Cerastir series of ceramic hotplate stirrers has increased as international demand for the product range hots up
The Cerastir range has three different models, all of which are designed for everyday laboratory use, and a range of high quality features has made it one of the hottest selling ranges available from Nickel-Electro.
Benefits of the Cerastir series include a ceramic glass heating surface which is resistant to most chemicals.
The plate heats up quickly and utilising an energy regulator or electronic controller, the temperature can be precisely controlled from ambient to 450C.
Cerastir also allows stirring to be precisely controlled from 0 to 2000rpm.
The more advanced models have preset stirring speeds controlled by an optical feedback system.
Each Cerastir model has been designed so that the heating surface can be easily wiped clean, and the chemical resistant cases ensure any accidental spillages do not effect the operation of the unit.
