Suited for skirted or unskirted 96-well format microplates, strips, or micro tubes, this block heater can be an alternative to a cycler for simple applications
The Micro Plate block heater from Nickel-Electro, manufacturer of the Clifton range of temperature control equipment, is described as a stylish and robust unit which offers users a substantial 96-well format.
The Micro Plate is specially suited for skirted or unskirted 96-well format microplates, strips, or micro tubes. The unit operates from ambient +5C up to 100C and has the ability to operate at two temperature set points and a timed interval.
It features a chemical-resistant, wipe-clean sloping control panel with touch buttons to make it easy to enter temperature and time values.
The bright, clear LED display suits all lighting conditions, and indicators show heating, alarm, time and set point modes in use.
Melvin Dickson, managing director of Nickel-Electro says: "The Micro Plate offers users a range of benefits and can adapt to a variety of tasks.
"For simpler applications it can be considered as an alternative to a cycler".
As with all products in the Clifton range, the Micro Plate comes with a three year warranty.
