As part of Oxoid's ongoing commitment to providing excellent customer service, it have just launched a Frequently Asked Questions section on its website.
The section, which has been put together by Oxoid's dedicated technical support team of Julie Ralph, Josie White and Simon Watterson, answers questions on anaerobic systems, antimicrobial susceptibility testing, culture media, supplements and raw materials, diagnostic reagents, dipslides, and toxin detection plus a selection of general questions.
Visitors can also email queries directly to the technical support team and read some of the more unusual questions asked of the department - such as the one received from a fisherman investigating the feasibility of using agar as a binding agent in bait for whelks.
