Oxoid says if you haven't sent in your entry for the 2004 Infection Control Team of the Year Awards there is still time to do it, but remember the closing date is 28 February 2005.
With a £5000 first prize and second and third prizes of £1000 and £500 respectively, this could be your team's opportunity to be publicly recognised for the important work that you do in your hospital.
Representatives from the award winning teams will also be invited to receive their prizes at a celebratory dinner to be held in summer 2005.
Entry is simple - there are no forms to complete.
To enter just provide a summary (maximum 2000 words) explaining the infection control challenges that you face and how team members respond to these challenges; describe the results of your work and how this has made a difference to your patients and hospital.
Remember that the closing date for entries into the awards is 28 February 2005, so ensure that you get your entries in soon, says Oxoid.
