Twister uses a time-programmable combination of shaking movements, heating and vacuum to provide fast evaporation of all common solvent mixtures.
Twister has 60 different programmes installed that cover common solvent mixtures and amounts, solute type and quantity and maximum allowable temperature.
For custom routines Twister comes with Windows-based software so that programs can be set up, stored, and downloaded. Twister holds four 96 deep-well plates, four 96 shallow-well, four 48 standard HPLC vials (1.5ml), or four 48 Eppendorf tubes (1ml).
Vacuum control is via a heated gas which can be air or nitrogen according to your choice.
Twister's use of a simple and cost efficient sliding vane rotary pump keeps efficiency up and costs down.
Orbital shaking is also programmed and can be varied in-run - this is crucial to a clean and effective process.
