PerkinElmer will showcase new products and highlight its 50 years of innovation in gas chromatography at Pittcon 2005
During the show, the company will showcase products that drive greater productivity and more accurate results in a number of key analytical science and instrumentation areas, including gas chromatography, atomic spectroscopy, infrared and UV/vis spectroscopy, thermal analysis, liquid chromatography, and laboratory information management systems.
The company will also celebrate the 50th anniversary of its gas chromatography technology by highlighting many of the firsts that PerkinElmer has achieved in GC over the past five decades.
This display will include a PerkinElmer model 154 gas chromatograph, the first commercially successful GC, introduced in 1955.
Peter Coggins, president of PerkinElmer LAS, will be a featured speaker at the American Chemical Society/Centcom 27th Annual Breakfast on 1 March.
The topic of the event is The Global Analytical Instrument Business.
"Pittcon continues to be an important venue for introducing our market-driven solutions and a forum for meeting with customers to better understand their changing needs," said Coggins.
"In partnering with our customers to fuel their scientific endeavors, PerkinElmer enables them to make breakthrough discoveries, improve their research productivity and drive the growth of their business".
