Appointed principal UK distributor for laser measurement and control equipment including laser power and energy meters, laser wavelength meters, spectrum analysers, and laser beam profilers
Pro-Lite Technology, a Cranfield, UK-based photonics equipment distributor, has signed a sales distribution agreement with Coherent.
The agreement provides for Pro-Lite to act as distributor for Coherent's range of laser measurement and control (LMC) products in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.
The agreement comes into immediate effect and encompasses the full range of LMC equipment manufactured by Coherent, including laser power and energy meters, laser wavelength meters, spectrum analysers, and laser beam profilers. The Coherent range of laser power and energy meters is the broadest in the industry, combining the products of Coherent with those of Molectron Detector, a company acquired by Coherent in 2002.
Coherent's European LMC sales manager, John Abbott, commented: "Pro-Lite is an experienced team of laser specialists and will provide Coherent's customers with knowledgeable pre- and post-sales support designed to help them select and get the most from their laser test equipment. Pro-Lite is a specialist photonics distributor which has been providing value-added service to the laser and optical radiation measurement communities in the UK and Ireland since its formation in 2002.
Pro-Lite supplies lasers operating from 157nm to 4.5 microns, laser beam diagnostics, safety eyewear and related accessories, as well as precision opto-mechanics, UV-IR detectors and equipment for measuring optical radiation.
