The PL-PSDA is an integrated, automated system for the rapid determination of the particle size distribution of colloidal dispersions.
The new PL-PSDA measures the distribution of particle size with much higher confidence than other classical, non-fractionation techniques, as the instrument physically fractionates particles according to size prior to detection.
The PL-PSDA measures complex particle size distributions with high precision and accuracy, independent of particle chemistry, making it ideal for narrow distribution, multi-modal or polydisperse samples.
Polymer Laboratories' PL-PSDA particle size distribution analyser measures particle size in the range 20nm to 3æm, and is ideal for particle size distribution analysis of polymer latex, liposomes, emulsions and dispersions, surfactants, colloids, biological samples, dairy and food products and cosmetics.
The fast analysis time of the PL-PSDA, coupled with automated sample handling, permit the system to be used as a high throughput quality control tool as well as a high precision research instrument.
