25th anniversary issue of Chromatographic Criteria provides technical information for problem solving in organic and aqueous GPC/SEC, rapid GPC polymer analysis and particle size distribution analysis
Polymer Laboratories has published the 25th Anniversary issue of its polymer newsletter, Chromatographic Criteria, giving news of new products and applications in the field of polymer characterisation.
As always, the newsletter provides technical information for problem solving in organic and aqueous GPC/SEC, rapid GPC polymer analysis and particle size distribution analysis.
The newsletter discusses solutions integrating instrumentation, software and columns to meet the demands of high throughput screening of polymer samples and libraries, and for monitoring polymerisation reactions in real time.
Effective filtration in high temperature sample preparation is featured. Comparisons of high efficiency columns for low MW GPC analyses are included, along with features on linearity and quality control applications.
An article on aqueous SEC with absolute MW light scattering focusses on starch analysis, illustrating an accurate measurement of MW, normally difficult to determine due to the lack of high MW standards.
Launched in this issue, PL's suite of GPC software, Cirrus, including GPC software for Agilent Technologies's LC ChemStation and LabSystems's Atlas.
Other new product information includes the online FTIR characterisation of polymers and new GPC-FTIR SCB software.
