Marketing agreement for training compliance software for drug testing and manufacture provides a significant presence in Europe
Netherlands based Plexx, a provider of products for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical research organisations Europewide, has announced an agreement with UK based Project Works for European marketing of Project Works's TRS software.
TRS is a validatable software program developed to measure the professional competence of drug testing and manufacturing staff.
Documentation of this training, which ensures compliance with regulatory bodies, is essential.
The software provides research and manufacturing organisations with tools that assist them in meeting GLP, GMP, and GCP regulations from the FDA while maintaining compliance with US and European regulations.
Richard Hunt, managing director of Project Works, commented: "Our two companies share common values about the integrity and quality of products that we develop and sell.
Plexx is well respected in the European research community as a representative of high quality products.
Project Works is excited about this relationship and we look forward to many years of working together with Arno and his team." Arno Brunink, managing director of Plexx, remarked: "Project Works has already proven to us through its existing clients that its products can be sold and used in European facilities.
We already have great interest from our current clients in Europe to evaluate the TRS.
European drug testing and manufacturing is ready for the high quality products such as the TRS, and we are pleased to be the partner that Project Works has chosen to represent it in Europe." In these changing economic times companies are looking for ways to reduce costs and increase market penetration," commented Richard Hunt.
"At the same time, many of our clients have European research centres. Expanding our sales presence into Europe to meet this growing need is critical, and partnering with a well established European organisation like Plexx will accelerate our presence in the market, while reducing the sales cycle."
