They are used with water treatment in industries as varied as food and beverage, swimming pools, pharmaceutical, chemical and petrochemical.
Using methods based on the measurement of electrical potential, current or conductivity, sensors are available for pH, redox, conductivity, temperature, inorganic, organic and total chlorine, chlorine dioxide, bromine, ozone, hydrogen peroxide, peracetic acid and dissolved oxygen.
Sensor types include single probes and diaphragm-covered dual and triple electrode probes.
To ensure a long life and trouble-free operation, ProMinent controls all aspects of the manufacturing process.
A detailed testing programme for each sensor is carried out immediately after production and then two weeks later to avoid glass-specific faults.
