Because of their significance, Profibus Group has arranged for one of the world's leading experts to lead a one-day seminar on these subjects.
Wolfgang Stripf is chairman of Profibus international technical committee 3 - application profiles, and has direct experience of nurturing these profiles through the committee stages, ensuring in the case of Profisafe compliance with key European and International safety standards and in the case of Profidrive, a profile that will enable design and implementation of even the most demanding applications in motion control.
In addition to the presentations by Dr Stripf, the Profisafe part of the event will feature a presentation on the UK perspective of functional safety from Simon Brown, head of section, control and instrumentation systems, HSE Technology.
