Highly-sensitive detector and is combined with analyte-specific gas chromatography to provide measurements with lower detection limits between <0.5ppb and 5ppb
Quantitech's recently announced exclusive UK and Eire distributorship agreement with Trace Analytical extends the company's capabilities in the detection of ultra-traces of impurities in air, bulk gases, or process streams.
Trace Analytical's patented reduction gas detector (RGD) is highly sensitive to a wide range of important contaminants and pollutants, and is combined with analyte-specific gas chromatography to provide measurements with lower detection limits between <0.5ppb and 5ppb.
Two gas analyser models are available using the RGD.
The ta-3000R is aimed at industrial and general research applications and is compatible with stream switching sample introduction systems.
The ta-7000R is a dedicated, single stream device aimed at detecting impurities in ultra-pure bulk gases, and uses statistical data reduction to achieve limits of detection less than 0.5ppb.
Other applications of the technology include ambient air monitoring, environmental analyses, medical and biochemical applications and microbiology. Quantitech will launch this product line at ET2003, at the NEC, April 8 -10.
