Lightweight and flexible carbon filled films for use in clinical applications such as ECG, Tens, biosensors and EMI/RFI radiation shielding for medical equipment
InteliCoat Technologies has introduced competitively-priced conductive films to its Inspire portfolio of medical components for the B2B market.
For use in clinical applications such as ECG, Tens, biosensors and EMI/RFI radiation shielding for medical equipment, the lightweight and flexible carbon filled films can be provided as either carbon alone, silver-coated carbon, or silver and silver chloride coated films.
Designed to prevent flaking and humidity-induced changes, the corrosion-resistant conductives can be easily heat-sealed, fused or moulded.
The films are manufactured in 12, 25, 50, and 100µm thicknesses and are available in range of slit widths up to 1.12m and roll lengths up to 1000m.
Homogeneous film composition and coatings minimise electrical discontinuities and hot spots when in use and the absence of low molecular weight substances prevent blooming of the conformable thin films, which are highly stable with a long shelf life.
According to customer requirements, various designs and patterns can be printed onto the silver and silver/silver chloride conductive range, helping to optimise current distribution and minimise edge burn.
