The Royal Microscopical Society invites abstracts for poster presentations for the 2004 Microscience conference, to be held at the Excel centre in London on 6-8 July 2004
Once again, Microscience will be showcasing some of science's finest research at Europe's biggest microscopy and imaging event.
The biennial conference and exhibition will take place 6-8 July 2004 at London's easily accessible Excel centre.
The event offers the chance for scientists to present their work to an audience from academia and industry.
There will be twelve distinct scientific sessions throughout the three-day conference and those submitting a poster need to identify the most relevant scientific session that suits their topic.
It is intended that posters will be displayed for one day only, so on each day a winning poster will be chosen by a panel which includes a representative from an exhibiting company and a conference organiser and prizes will be awarded.
There will also be a special 'New Scientist' prize each day open to scientists starting out in the field of microscopy who are presenting microscopy results for only the first or second time. Abstracts, of no more than 250 words, need to be submitted by 2 April 2004 at the latest, but to ensure posters are displayed on the most relevant day it is advised to submit sooner.
Also all abstracts chosen will be published in the Microscience conference book.
