New instruments utilise high-precision displacement sensors for automatic direct sample length measurements
Shimadzu Scientific Instruments has introduced the highly flexible and efficient TMA-60 series thermomechanical analysers, which enable easy and precise TMA measurements.
Two models are available.
The TMA-60 is a full-expansion multi-functional system that enables various types of measurement to be performed on a variety of sample types.
The TMA-60H is a differential expansion system designed for high-temperature expansion measurement of ceramics and glass.
A high-precision, low drift digital displacement detector provides dramatically improved measurement accuracy of 1µm/C.
An expanded detection range of +/-5mm enables highly accurate TMA over a wide range from extremely small to large deformations.
Shimadzu's TMA-60 and TMA-60H utilise high-precision displacement sensors for automatic direct sample length measurements.
Built-in cooling fans enable fast cooling cycles automatically, immediately following analysis completion. Two gas flow paths allow independent control of detector purge and direct introduction of steam or reaction gas into the furnace.
Coupled with the multifunctional TA-60WS software, the TMA-60 and TMA-60H offer easy operation for a wide variety of TMA applications and provide advanced data acquisition and reporting functions.
