Selerity Technologies is organising three workshops in December 2004 where chromatographers will be able to learn more about temperature programmed HPLC
The workshops will be offered free of charge at various venues in Utah and California at the beginning of December 2004.
The workshops will be structured to facilitate hands-on learning in a supportive environment where attendees will be able to share experiences, says the company.
Chromatographers and research scientist routinely using HPLC in their laboratory will find these sessions particularly interesting and informative.
Useful insight will be given on how to develop faster and more efficient HPLC methods using temperature programming.
The advantages of temperature programming and the technology enabling routine method development for TPLC will be discussed by Selerity's experts.
Participants will be given examples on how TPLC methods can easily be incorporated into any laboratory.
Not only is TPLC able to extend the range of HPLC separations, but it also reduces method development time while improving those same separations. Selerity has developed a complete system that completely harnesses temperature as a parameter in chromatographic runs.
The Polaratherm total temperature controller incorporating an oven, silica column and innovative preheater design allows the separation scientist to replace solvent gradients with isocratic temperature programmed methods.
Analyses can now be performed at temperatures up to 200C thanks to advances in column technology. Workshop dates and locations are as follows:.
3 December 2004 - University Park Hotel, Salt Lake City, Utah.
6 December 2004 - Radisson Hotel, La Jolla, California.
8 December 2004 - Marriott Courtyard, Los Altos, California.
