Sigma-Aldrich has been named 2003's 'best-in-class' supplier for service and support by over 1200 life scientists worldwide.
For the second year in a row, Sigma-Aldrich customer service has been ranked No 1, while technical support has moved from No 2 to No 1.
Results are based on an annual survey conducted by BioInformatics, a market research firm specialising in the life sciences.
In addition to international honours, Sigma-Aldrich customer service was also named a regional favourite in the USA and Europe - as well as a favorite among academic and industrial markets.
Technical support achieved regional favourite status in Europe and was named a favourite in the academic market.
"These high honours are proof, once again, that we're making science easier for our customers," said David Harvey, Sigma-Aldrich chairman, president and chief executive officer.
