Sionex, a high technology company focused on commercialising chemical sensor chips and systems based on its proprietary microDMx detection technology, has announced that Wes Davis has joined the company as president and CEO.
Before joining Sionex, Davis had been president of a number of high technology companies, both public and private, including MicroTouch, Lasertron, Radiant Images and General Scanning.
These companies became leaders in their respective worldwide markets.
Earlier in his career, Davis was a partner with Braxton Associates, a leading strategy consulting firm.
"One of my goals was to recruit a seasoned CEO to drive Sionex to the next level," said Lawrence A Kaufman, CEO of Sionex since its founding in 2001.
"Wes's high energy and focus on customer service and quality control will be invaluable as we enter our critical growth stage.
