Many processes in these industries are critically dependent upon temperature, and Sira has invested in a unique spherical calibration furnace to provide the most up-to-date temperature calibration facility in the UK.

The innovative, spherical design of the calibration globe provides a very stable environment ensuring temperature uniformity.
Conventional tube designs can present problems, namely variable temperature gradients at the ends of the tube, demanding careful positioning of the thermocouples and making repeatability of measurements more difficult to achieve.
