US pharmaceutical giant Baxter Healthcare has renewed its commitment to the RegTracker software system now owned by Synapse Partnership, following the recent acquisition from Phase Forward. Invaluable to regulatory affairs specialists, the global registration management tool keeps track of information and activities surrounding marketing authorisations for phwrmaceuticals throughout the product lifecycle.
Baxter Healthcare is a global health care company, which, through its subsidiaries, provides critical therapies for people with life-threatening conditions.
"We have deployed RegTracker to more than 100 users across three company divisions in 17 countries throughout the EEC.
Each division is responsible for their own data, but the project management module of RegTracker offers European headquarters a complete overview of any product variation or approval status project," said Patrick Hoet, European director of regulatory affairs at Baxter Healthcare. "RegTracker has been used for four years throughout Europe. As a result, we have now rolled RegTracker out to some of our US operations to start managing our global registrations with the same system." E-records and specialist pharmaceutical IT systems supplier Synapse now holds responsibility for global marketing, sales, installation, development, support and maintenance of RegTracker.
Former Phase Forward employee Ola Strandberg has joined the team to ensure continuity of customer support, maintenance and development, and help facilitate a smooth transition between the two companies.
