Scientific Software and GBC Scientific Equipment announce that new software instrument control has been developed for SSI's EZChrom Elite chromatography data systems
The new software control enables users to fully control the comprehensive GBC line of HPLCs through EZChrom Elite.
"We are pleased to work with GBC to provide this new product offering," says Edward Long, vice president at Scientific Software.
"EZChrom Elite can be used with a variety of commercial HPLCs and this new software option provides integrated instrument control for the GBC Scientific line of instrumentation with the full range of EZChrom Elite software features including 21 CFR Part 11, audit trail, and diode array detector support and analysis".
"This agreement is important to our customers because it will provide a highly flexible and easy to use data system," according to Ron Grey, managing director at GBC Scientific.
"The GBC HPLC line of stand-alone HPLC systems, solvent delivery systems, modular detectors and autosamplers can be controlled in the EZChrom Elite platform, including autosampler, isocratic and gradient pumps, and a complete line of detectors ranging form single and dual wavelength, electrochemical, fluorescence, PDA, and refractive index".
EZChrom Elite is a Windows 2000 and XP multi-vendor chromatography data system capable of integrating instrument control with advanced data handling features.
It can be used with a variety of commercial HPLC and GC instruments and is scalable from workstations to a special low cost EZStart single instrument version.
