Brochure is designed to introduce the pharmaceutical and biotech industries to the benefits of measuring pKa for the completion of the full physicochemical profile of a compound
Sirius Analytical Instruments has published a new brochure detailing its D-Pas instrument for the measurement of pKa of mono- or multi-protic molecules.
The D-Pas brochure is designed to introduce the pharmaceutical and biotech industries to the benefits of measuring pKa for the completion of the full physicochemical profile of a compound.
D-Pas is designed as an accessory for the Sirius GLpKa and PCA200 instruments.
It enables pKa to be measured spectrophotometrically, providing automatic calculation of results.
This means lower sample concentrations, increased sensitivity and no electrode noise.
In addition, D-Pas can be used to detect the onset and presence of turbidity in the experimental solution.
The spectral data can also give information about the molar extinction coefficient for all the species present.
D-Pas is ideal for both single- or multi-protic molecules and macro- and micro-constants.
