As a direct result of the company's continued growth and success, Sysmex UK is moving on to bigger and better premises in September 2003
The company's increasing presence in the point of care market looks set to be underlined with the imminent launch of the brand new pocH-100i - a fully automated point of care haematology analyser that can deliver full blood counts (FBC) in just two minutes.
PocHi joins the Roteg system for whole blood haemostasis and PFA-100 platelet function analyser as part of the rapidly expanding range of point of care products available from Sysmex UK.
Particularly important for the growing number of new recruits to the product teams, extended and improved training facilities will also be housed at the prestigious office and warehousing accommodation.
Managing director Jeff Allen explained: "This move to new premises is the result of major achievements over the last twelve years and is mainly due to the fact that we have grown from employing 24 staff in 1991 to a staggering 65 today. "Many of our customers have stayed with us throughout this period and been joined by many new ones, and we believe we now have the facilities commensurate with being the major supplier of both haematology and haemostasis products in the UK and Ireland. "We also look forward to repeating this success with our suite of IT products, giving Sysmex the opportunity of providing the best solutions for all laboratories".
