Syware has launched mEnable for Windows XP Tablet PC edition, the newest version of the company's wireless software architecture that allows mobile users to access and modify server data in real time.
mEnable allows the development of data-driven applications that wirelessly connect Windows, Windows CE, and Pocket PC-powered handhelds, including the new XP Tablet PCs, with corporate servers.
This means mobile workgroups can quickly and easily interact with corporate information in real time, sales professionals can retrieve the latest pricing worksheets, maintenance crews can check parts inventory levels, and physicians can exchange patient notes and diagrams.

mEnable for Windows XP Tablet PC Edition allows any application written in C++, Visual Basic, eMbedded C++, eMbedded Visual Basic, or Visual Studio.Net to wirelessly read from or write to any ODBC-enabled data source, such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Microsoft Access, and Sybase.
As a result, synchronization is no longer required to access the latest information residing on corporate servers.
