Says customers will benefit from authorised rental partner programmes in Europe with Livingston and Microlease
Tektronix, a manufacturer of test, measurement and monitoring solutions, has signed authorised rental partner agreements with two leading electronics rental and leasing companies in Europe - Livingston, and Microlease.
Rental and leasing are increasingly being seen as essential components in the product marketing mix, especially for higher-value items like logic analysers, top-end oscilloscopes, and specialised communications test equipment. Customers undertaking specific research projects may wish to acquire a piece of test equipment for a matter of weeks or months, while others may require short-term replacements for equipment that is unavailable because of essential repairs or maintenance.
"Partnership agreements with the two major pan-European specialists in this area allows Tektronix's customers to benefit from a variety of rental, leasing and contract-hire arrangements, resulting in flexible solutions to their short and long-term procurement requirements," said David Carew-Jones, European director of marketing at Tektronix. "Both Livingston and Microlease operate internationally, and have many years of experience in the test and measurement industry.
They have their own calibration facilities, and work closely with instrument suppliers on collaborative programmes of training, marketing and customer support.
