Upgrade for inductively-coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP/MS) package includes enhanced wavelength calibration routine and new features to meet 21 CFR Part 11
Thermo Elemental introduces the latest validated analysis package, Teva 1.2, for its Iris Intrepid ICP series of products. Teva 1.2 (Thermo Elemental Validated Analysis) Windows 2000 brings many new features and enhancements to the company's Teva software platform including support of all existing Iris and Iris Advantage model instruments.
With an enhanced wavelength calibration routine, Teva 1.2 is designed for both routine and research requirements.
For production applications, the system can operate unattended, performing fast repetitive analysis without operator intervention.
The Iris Intrepid software package also includes important new features for labs operated in regulated environments including enhanced quality control features, secure raw data storage, locked sequencing, and multilevel user security.
The software allows a full audit trail and meets the criteria for 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.
An instrumentation qualification (IQ) validation package is also available.
Research chemists can use the CID (Charge Injection Device) enabled routines to subtract the entire emission spectra of one sample from another to quickly identify sample differences.
Incorporating an extensive range of security enhancements across the analytical, automation, instrument and database systems, Teva 1.2 is network-ready allowing any networked computer to operate the instrument and generate professional, compliant reports.
