Ultrasonic Scientific reports better than expected demand for its innovative products in the American market, and opens an office in New Jersey as a result
Innovator in ultrasonic analysis Ultrasonic Scientific follows the launch of its award-winning instrument with the opening of its first office in the USA, in Piscataway, NJ.
Having received an above-expected demand from the USA following the launch of the high resolution ultrasonic spectrometer, HR-US instrument, Ultrasonic Scientific has accelerated this move into the USA. With sales 30% above target during 2002 from the USA, Ultrasonic Scientific started the year 2003 with the opening of its first office and demonstration facility, located in New Jersey.
The opening in January of the new technical facility provides an immediate base from which to offer support to American customers who have ordered the instrument from Ultrasonic Scientific.
It is a facility that is part of the Ultrasonic Scientific organisation, manned by the global company's growing team of technical experts.
Breda O'Driscoll, managing director of Ultrasonic Scientific, explains: "The USA provides a huge opportunity for Ultrasonic Scientific and it is exciting that we are announcing our first US headquarters opening, the office is centrally positioned, being located in the heart of the pharmaceutical district in New Jersey." Continuing, she explains: "The HR-US instrument has not only been taken up rapidly by academia, and has been sold into our key targets across industry in QA/QC and product development in the pharmaceutical, petrochemical, food and polymer industries in USA.
For this reason, Ultrasonic Scientific has decided that 2003 is the year to make inroads into the continent.
The new US HQ of Ultrasonic Scientific is intended to give us a foothold from which to grow sales.
The imminent announcement of the appointment of three new USA distributors confirms our organisation's commitment to the American market.
