Ultrasonic Scientific is offering free HR-US seminars for specialists are involved in the analysis and characterisation of materials and systems
The free on-site seminars provide attendees with an insight into how HR-US technology can be used to solve a range of analytical problems in industries such as chemical, pharmaceutical, food, petrochemical, biotechnology and polymer.
The HR-US seminars will be held on request at company locations and will be given by world leading experts in the field of ultrasound analysis.
Each seminar will involve a 40-60 minute presentation on the benefits of HR-US technology and how it can be used to see intermolecular processes and analyse transparent and opaque samples.
The diverse applications of the HR-US will also be explored including analysis of emulsion stability, sedimentation, antibody/antigen binding, enzyme kinetics and many more.
Rather than being a HR-US sales-pitch, the seminars are intended as an opportunity for individuals in the field of material analysis to learn about this new analytical technology including its benefits over traditional analytical techniques such as UV/Vis, FTIR and NMR HR-US provides an alternative powerful spectroscopy tool.
This non-destructive technique is based on precision measurements of parameters of high-frequency sound waves propagating through analysed samples. These waves propagate through most materials including opaque samples (down to a volume of 0.03ml) and allow direct probing of intermolecular forces.
