The latest models are the DX40 routine microscope and DX60 inverted microscope, both utilising Isis expanded pupil technology to offer optimum ergonomic conditions to laboratory microscope users.
These new models complement the existing stereo microscope systems, including the Alpha expanded exit pupil microscope, Beta stereo zoom microscope and Mantis stereo magnifier.

Expanded exit pupil technology means that an operator can wear glasses and does not need to physically come into contact with the eyepiece of the microscope.
In environments where there is a biological or chemical hazard, this offers a safer working solution for the operator and the increased eye distance allows for safety spectacles to be worn, or even positioning the microscope inside a shielded cabinet.
