Enables simultaneous cell culture experiments to be performed in one plate: cells are grown on inner surface or on slides and are easily fixed, stained, and examined inside the plate
Vivascience introduces Vivadish, a rectangular cell culture plate with four parallel chambers to accommodate standard microscope slides.
Vivadish enables simultaneous cell culture experiments to be performed in one plate: cells are grown directly on the inner surface or onto standard glass slides and are easily fixed, stained, and examined inside the plate.
Vivadish offers two surface qualities: tissue culture grade to directly support growth of adherent cells, and microbiological grade for non-adherent cell culture or for preparation of glass slide mounts.
The excellent optical properties of Vivadish in both surface qualities allow the microscopic inspection and microphotography of the cells throughout the experiments.
Due to its standard outer dimensions, Vivadish fits into microscope stage adapters, rotors, readers, and automated handling devices for microtiter plates.
The plate is said to be ideally suitable for karyotyping, immunofluorescence-based studies, and genotoxicity tests.
Vivadish accepts inserts and surface modifications and is therefore highly versatile for future developments towards microarray technology and cell-based assays. Vivadish is the first member of a new proprietary Vivascience line of cell culture disposables.
Along with bioreactors, sterile filtration products, and ultrapure water systems, this product line enlarges Vivascience's solutions for cell cultivation.
