Partnership agreement with OI Analytical introduces application-specific solutions for analytical scientists in the water, soil, food and beverage industries
CSP has signed a major partnership agreement with OI Analytical of Texas, for the supply of its GC detectors and automated chemistry analyser systems to the UK market.
The new ranges include application-specific solutions for analysts in the water, soil, food and beverage industries.
"The British market is crucial for OI Analytical's growth and we are delighted to have come to an agreement with such a dynamic company," says Pierre-Jean Arvers, the company's European sales manager.
"The experience, stability and competence of CSP's people will be a certain asset in gaining the trust and loyalty of customers in the coming years.
"This new relationship complements our TOC (total organic carbon) analysis distribution in the UK, handled by Eden Scientific".
The agreement gives CSP access to OI Analytical's sensitive GC detection technology, including ultra-sensitive sulphur and phosphorous detectors offering detectivity better than 1pg/sec S and 0.1pg/sec P respectively, and GC Purge and Trap systems in both manual and automated forms.
It also brings the Flow Solution IV to the UK market.
With a choice of flow injection analysis (FIA) or traditional segmented flow analysis (SFA), this powerful continuous flow analyser is used around the world for water, environmental, oceanographic, soil and food applications.
"This distribution arrangement perfectly complements our other product lines and our own expertise and experience in the water and environmental, pharmaceutical, chemical, food and petrochemical industries," said Tony Mulville of CSP.
OI Analytical develops, manufactures, sells, and services innovative analytical instruments that detect, measure, analyse, and monitor chemicals in liquids, solids, and gases.
It provides products used to digest, extract, and separate components of chemical mixtures and application-specific solutions for the environmental, defence, pharmaceutical, food, beverage, petrochemical, chemical, semiconductor, power generation, and HVAC industries.
OI Analytical's products are used for research and development, quality control, analytical services and process monitoring.
