The British Measurement and Testing Association (BMTA) is a club with membership open to all organisations involved with measurement, testing or analysis, and is holding a seminar in March 2005
Many BMTA members are Ukas-accredited laboratories, and membership of Ukas provides a co-ordinated stakeholder voice to lobby BSI, DTI and other official bodies.
BMTA is holding a technical seminar at the University of Warwick on 17 March 2005 and presenters include senior representatives of Ukas and NPL.
This is described as an ideal networking event and a chance to find out what BMTA offers its members.
The cost of attendance is £50 for members and £90 for non-members.
If non-members attend and subsequently join BMTA, the £40 difference is deducted from the first year's membership fee.
Membership costs £225 per year for organisations with 25 or less employees and £370 for organisations with more than 25 employees (all prices +VAT).
