A dozen different bath liquids

More than a dozen different bath liquids are described in detail in this 32-page brochure, enabling the choice of the appropriate heat trasnfer medium for the best results
High-quality thermostats form the base for precise temperature control in the laboratory.
The best equipment, however, is no use to anybody if the incorrect liquid is used as a bath medium.
Only the right heat transfer ensures a satisfactory working result, and guarantees the safety of the device.
The new Lauda Bath Liquids brochure gives the right answers to the question of the correct temperature control medium, says the company.
More than a dozen different bath liquids are described in detail in the 32-page brochure.
New to the programme is the Therm 240 silicone oil, which is suitable for high-temperature operation and has good long-term stability features.
Especially suited for low-temperature applications are the bestsellers Kryo 20 and Kryo 30.
Diagrams of the individual heat transfers via the conduct of viscosity, density, volume change and the specific heat capacity in the recommended temperature range provide important information regarding the possible uses.
This means that the correct medium is available for use between -90 and 350C.
Depending on the application, the user can choose between silicone oils, synthetic organic liquids or water-based heat transfers.
An aid for determining the right medium and a glossary of the most important terminology from the world of temperature control with liquids complete the work.
An important point to note: the use of bath liquids is not restricted to Lauda thermostats.
The new brochure is available from Lauda free of charge.
